Let's chat about the three big 'P's in our lives - no, not pizza, popcorn, and pancakes (though, yum).
I'm talking about Parenting, Partnership, and... drumroll, please... Parentpreneurship!
Yep. I always say Entrepreneurship, Marriage, and PARENTING are the three things that will grow you as a person the MOST in life. And if you're nodding along, chances are you're in the thick of it, just like me.
You know the drill.
One minute you're a diaper-changing superhero, the next you're closing deals like a boss. Your schedule? More packed than a preschooler’s lunch box.
And sleep?
What's that?
Is it that mythical thing people talk about, like unicorns or a clean house?
Kidding!
But despite the chaos, the spills, and the never-ending to-do list, there's MAGIC in this madness.
A magic that I’ll be sharing in this blog especially for mompreneurs and dadpreneurs out there!

You know how it goes—we're all guilty of playing personal bodyguard to our kiddos. It’s like, every little danger that pops up, we're there, ready to jump in front of it. Anything that might cause a scratch or a scare, we’re on it. It’s just what we do, right?
But then it hit me one day: we’ve got to ease up and let them take a few harmless nosedives. It’s the only way they’ll get the hang of this thing called life. They need to figure out how to pick themselves up, dust off, and go at it again with a grin.
And man, it’s not easy watching them wobble and not rush in. My heart does this little flop every time, not gonna lie.
But then you see them, all grown and doing their thing, and you can’t help but feel a bit chuffed, you know? They’re out there cooking noodles at 2 AM, figuring out that red shirts and white socks don’t mix in the wash, and actually remembering their own deadlines. No more standing over them asking if their homework’s done.
Weirdly proud and terrifying, all at once.
Recently with my podcast episode, I had Marina Worre in it, and she said something that truly stuck with me.
She talked about the power of belief – not just any belief, but a powerful belief system that we instill in our kids. It's about having faith in them, even when they're out of sight, making friends, or choosing their majors.
This belief system is their compass when they're navigating new waters without us.
This belief system will help them propel towards their lives.
Marina said, and I'm paraphrasing here, that this belief in them is what fuels their growth. It's why they'll push through when things get tough, why they'll stand up after a fall, and why they'll have the guts to dream big.
And it's wired in us as parents to want our kids to dream big, don't we? We want them to reach for the stars, even if it means they'll be a little out of our reach.
So here’s to the slips and trips because believe it or not, that’s flight school for them. Cheers to us giving them room to stretch out and really flap those wings.
We’ve hugged them, taught them, and now it’s time to trust them.
Trust in our kids. Trust in the belief system we've tucked inside them. And trust in wherever their amazing adventures take them.

Peggy O'Mara once said that the way we talk to our children becomes their inner voice. It hits home, doesn't it?
Let's keep it real—kids are so much smarter and resilient than we often give them credit for. They're like these little sponges soaking up every drop of what we say and how we say it. And that's exactly what Marina Worre got into on our podcast.
She's all about giving kids the full scoop, no sugar-coating, no fairy tales. Just real talk.
It's like we're the potters shaping these cute little clay pots. Every honest chat is a gentle press, a nudge in the right direction, turning them into these sturdy, beautiful vases that won't crack at the first bump.
So, when do we start? I say, why wait for the so-called "right" time? Life doesn't come with a schedule, and neither should these heart-to-hearts. But hey, let's not hit them with the heavy stuff when they're halfway through their favorite cartoon, right?
Find those chill moments—maybe you're both lounging on the couch on a lazy Sunday, or you're mixing up some cookies and the kitchen's got that warm, yummy smell. That's your stage. That's when the magic happens.
You create this cozy bubble where it's safe to open up, and that's where the really good stuff pours out. It's not about the clock; it's about the click—the click of connection, the click of understanding.
Just be there, be real, and the rest will follow.
And if you still don't know how to kick things off...grab a copy of my Dinner Questions! It's this awesome list of super fun and mind-tickling questions that'll spark the most lively convos and the biggest belly laughs.
Best part? It's on the house, totally free! This will help you ease into those tough, honest heart-to-hearts with your kids. Plus, it will help you craft a space where your kids feel comfy enough to chat about the real stuff, the tough stuff.

On our recent podcast, Marina and I peeled away the intricate layers of 'mom guilt,' a term as complex as the emotions it stirs. We explored the life of a mompreneur, which is far from the mythical equilibrium of work-life balance.
Instead, it's an intricate dance between nurturing children and nurturing ambitions, where playdates collide with profit margins, and business strategies are planned alongside bedtime stories.
Being a mompreneur is like having your cake and eating it too, but sometimes it feels like the cake is kinda judging you. Yes, you want to excel in the entrepreneurial arena, to embody that empowered boss lady archetype, but the heartstrings are tugged into a symphony of guilt with every milestone missed or bedtime story left unread.
However, the life of entrepreneurship is unyielding—it knows no final hour, often spilling over into the time meant for whispered lullabies and morning cuddles. It doesn’t punch out at 5 PM.
It’s an all-day, every-day gig.
One of the insights from Marina Worre in the podcast that resonated profoundly with me was, "Kids do not need all of our time. They need quality time." This is such a powerful truth for us mompreneurs as it emphasizes that our children bloom under the care of our undistracted, quality presence—not the duration.
They thrive when we are fully invested in the moment, whether it’s celebrating their small victories or soothing their disappointments with our undivided attention.
So for those mom guilt moments? Here’s a little trick – plan ahead.
Snag those school event dates early and carve them out in your entrepreneur-sized heart of a calendar. And when you can't be there, find a way to make it up. Maybe a special mom-kid date? They'll love that one-on-one time, and it’ll be a memory made just for the two of you.

Being there for our kids and helping them build a strong set of beliefs is one of the greatest things we can do. We all know it's not just about telling them what's right or wrong—but showing them with every hug, high-five, and bedtime story, how to be their best selves.
And if you’re looking to deepen more on this topic, join me and the incredible Marina Worre in our recent podcast episode. We’ll share insights, experiences, and strategies to help you cultivate a resilient belief system in your children.
Could be during your coffee break, on your commute, or even while you're folding that mountain of laundry.
Let’s keep the conversation going and grow this amazing community of parents who are in it together!
